THE Weymouth and Port-land Skittles League annual presentation night took place for the first time at the Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy.

Weymouth Wanderers completed a double by regaining the Division One trophy, which they relinquished last year to Pinups, and winning the Secretary's Cup.

Pinups consoled themselves though, by winning the KO Cup.

The Treasurer's Cup, the female equivalent to the Secretary's Cup, went the way of Wyke Skylarks.

WWMC Live Wires took the Ladies' Division One crown for the fourth time in five years with the Ladies' KO Cup being won by the Diamonds.

Elsewhere, Colleen Clarke and Tracey Williams of Wyke Social Yo-Yo's beat Rita Aston and Jane Simkin of Sapphires to the Ladies' Pairs.

In the Men's Pairs competition, Steve Heslop and Paul Baker of PBLC'C' defeated Marc and Lee Norris of Marcoleptics.

The league and cup trophies were again presented by the president of Weymouth Working Men's Club, and league sponsor, Dale Wilkinson.
